Framing service in Liverpool launches

Editions Framing has launched in the heart of Liverpool city centre as an independent picture, photography, print and memorabilia framing service in December 2021.

The company has grown from its beginnings as an art gallery in the Bluecoat Centre to become one of the city’s experts in fine art framing with a host of high-profile clients and a proven track record in displaying customers artwork, film posters, medals and sporting memorabilia for over twenty years.

The company, based in 16 Cook Street (next door to Piccolino) in the historic Joseph Ellis listed building and with drop-off/pick-up parking outside is owned by Steve Heath, who has been putting customers work in the frame of their choice since 1995.

Steve said “We are delighted to set up a dedicated framing service for our customers. With Editions Framing we can concentrate on making artwork really stand out, with a range of frames and mounts that will compliment, and in so many ways, enhance an image.

Its not just images either – these days people want to be able to display their personality and individuality in the way they decorate their homes and offices. More and more we are framing, what would have been considered in the past as unusual, but now days is the norm, such as medals, clothes, pipes and badges as well as prints, paintings and photographs.

I think our customers realise that an individual frame for that unique item or artwork really stands out in their home as a statement and enhances their brand image in their office.”

Framing stamps, box framing of sporting memorabilia as well

Editions Framing have worked on objects as small as medieval coins through to huge paintings and each frame is bespoke, made to order on site, by expert craftsmen. Prints can be dry mounted or taped to ensure they are winkle-free, with a cut, acid free mount board. Box frames are created with the same skill and attention to detail.

The company can even fit the frames at your home or office to an art gallery standard.

Editions is open 10am to 5pm on weekdays and 11am until 3pm on Saturdays and can collect and deliver larger artwork by consultation with the customer.
